Cameo, also known as American Cameo, is a year-round variety, grown to meet the strict quality control standards of Washington state Cameo growers, which are the highest in the apple industry. American Cameo is the name given to the over 90 percent of Cameos grown, harvested and stored according to the Cameo Apple Marketing Association’s strict quality control program recommendations.
